In general, a disease is something that negatively effects the functioning or structure of a living organism, and this isn’t due to any direct external harm done to the organism. Instead, diseases are commonly known as associated medical conditions which are typically characterized by specific biological manifestations. One common type of disease that is generally considered to be an inflammatory disorder is arthritis. Arthritis is characterized by inflammation, swelling, stiffness and warmth in the affected joint.

The symptoms of most diseases are often similar, although they vary for each case. If you suspect that you have a particular disease, you should consult your doctor immediately to get a proper diagnosis. In some cases, you may not have symptoms for a while, and then you would experience an infection or disease flare-up. This is why it is important to stay vigilant and visit your doctor immediately should you see any signs of a disease or infection.
